Liberty football player named WIAA athlete of the week

Jacob Thoresen was named Athlete of the Week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association for week seven, Oct. 8 through 14.

Thoresen had five touchdowns on offense and an interception for a return in the Patriots 49-7 win over West Seattle.

He had 116 yards on four carries and two catches for 41 yards and two interceptions.
