Renton police seeks public assistance to identify bank robber

Renton Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify a man who robbed a bank on Monday, Oct. 2.

According to the RPD Facebook page, the suspect entered Banner Bank on Rainier Avenue South around 1:15 p.m. He went up to a register, implied he had a gun and asked the teller for large bills. He was last seen walking southbound from the bank.

The post described the suspect as an older black male with graying hair, a goatee, and about 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt that had writing on the front, a blue jacket, a black baseball cap and sunglasses.
