Kirtsov’s hat trick powers Lindbergh to second round of state tournament

The Lindbergh Eagles rode a first-half hat trick by Alex Kirtsov to a 4-1 victory over Foster Tuesday at Renton Memorial Stadium to keep their magical, unbeaten season alive.

Taylor Rin added the fourth goal before halftime to make it  4-0 lead.

Foster scored once in the second half, but the Eagles defense held strong to pick up another win for the Seamount League champs.

With the win, Lindbergh moves to the second round of the state tournament and will host Anacortes at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Renton Memorial Stadium. The winner of that game will move on to the semi-finals May 27 at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.
