Every dog has their day at the Pooch Plunge | SLIDESHOW

With the pools closed to humans for the season, Renton’s four-legged friends got their day in the sun as the Henry Moses Aquatic Center went to the dogs on Saturday for the 2013 Pooch Plunge to close out the summer season.

All three sessions of the event were sold out Saturday morning as residents relished the opportunity to take their pups into the lazy river, wave and lap pools. Only the water slides were closed, though the dogs didn;t seem to mind.
