Police release photo of suspect vehicle in I-405 shooting Wednesday

The Renton Police Department has released a photo of a black SUV from which investigators believe shots were fired into another car Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 405 in Renton.
The department also released a photo of the 1996 white Chevrolet Caprice in which the two victims of the shooting were riding.
The department is soliciting any information which can help it find or identify the suspect SUV.
The shooting at about 4:45 p.m. on southbound I-405 happened between the State Route 167 and the exit to West Valley Highway.
State troopers, who initially investigated, were unable to locate a victim at that time, but Seattle Police contacted two gunshot victims about half an hour later in South Seattle.
Renton Police are asking that anyone who witnessed any activity possibly related to this shooting call 425-430-7500, and refer to case number 13-8201.
Even if witnesses have spoken about the incident to another law enforcement agency, they are asked to call Renton Police directly to make sure investigators have all relevant information.
