The Lindbergh Eagles soccer team season got off to a rough start this weekend with losses to Foster and Ferris.

Lindbergh opened their season on Friday, facing off against league opponent Foster. The Eagles battled hard, but the Bulldogs were relentless and headed home with a 2-0 victory.

On Saturday, Lindbergh played again, this time against visiting Foster, in from Spokane to play Auburn Mountainview and the Eagles.

The Ferris Saxons, a 4A team from the Greater Spokane League, proved too much for Lindbergh, running a 6-0 victory over the Eagles.

Lindbergh is scheduled to play at Evergreen Tuesday and at Kennedy Catholic on Friday. Both are Seamount League games.
