Renton teen performing in ‘Hairspray’

Elijah Clayton, 14, of Renton, is performing the role of Gilbert in the Issaquah Village Theatre Kid Stage’s production of “Hairspray.”

The one-year veteran of Village Theatre is featured in several singing and dance numbers.

The production runs through Sunday, Aug. 7. Showtimes today (Friday) and Saturday are 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
