The Rotary Club of Renton has selected its Teachers of the Month for February.

She has been a teacher in Renton for four years.

• Janette Lee is a fourth-grade teacher at Benson Hill Elementary.

She attended Central Washington University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood education major, elementary certification. Lee is working toward a master of teaching degree from Central. Before earning her degree and teaching in Renton, she worked as a pre-school teacher at the Bellevue Children’s School. This is her 16th year teaching in Renton.

The teachers are invited to attend a recognition luncheon held at the Maplewood Golf Course. Each teacher also receives $200 to be used for classroom supplies or instructional materials.
