Airashay Rogers, Michelle Wnek combine for 53 points, 19 steals as Hazen beats Lindbergh | Girls basketball

The Hazen girls basketball team opened league play with a 62-45 win against Lindbergh Wednesday night.

Junior Airashay Rogers led the Highlanders (1-0) with 31 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and two blocks. Michelle Wnek scored 22 points and picked up 10 steals.

Gabriel Redwin led Lindbergh with 16 points and Emily Graver scored 12.
