Giants sign former Seattle safety Deon Grant | Seahawks

Mike Garafolo reports the New York Giants signed safety Deon Grant to a one-year deal.

Grant spent the past three seasons with the Seahawks. He started every game in those three seasons. Grant averaged 78 tackles and totaled eight interceptions.

In the Giants’ press release, Grant stated “I wanted to be here when I went to Seattle (in 2007), but (the Giants) came into the picture late.”

The Seahawks released Grant in March.
