Cross Country: Lindbergh’s Trevor Thompson breaks course record at Class Meet; other class winners

Renton Seamount cross-country teams kicked off the 2009 season with the Seamount Class Meet at Evergreen High School’s course Thursday.

Lindbergh’s Trevor Thompson was the star, running the fastest overall time and breaking a course record with a time of 10 minutes, three seconds.

Lindbergh sophomore Sarah Reiter ran the fastest girls time at 12:42.

Boys class winners: Thompson (senior), Nate Tandecki (Lindbergh, junior), Conner Hall (Hazen, sophomore) and Daniel Karpman (Hazen, freshman).

Girls class winners: May Lim (Hazen, senior), Mary Grace Asirot (Renton, junior), Reiter (sophomore) and Whiteney Diggs (Highline, freshman).
