Daisy Nelson, Beloved Mother and grandmother entered eternal life on August 6, 2009 at age 103. She was born September 3 1905 in Michigan, near Grand Rapids, a little hamlet called Sand Lake. Daisy is survived by her children: Ken (Helen), Violet Tonkin (Art), Milton (Marian), Marian McCready (Art Edwards) and Betty Aron (Dutch); 17 grandchildren: Ron, Nancy, Laurie, Pam, Pete, Gilbert, David, Rick, Marcia, Lilly, Bill, Debby, Richard, Kraig, Andy, Jim and Sarah; 30 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren; nephew Don Jacobson (Pearl). Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Orvin; sister Gertie Jacobson (John) and Granddaughter Cathy Desranleau-Nelson.Memoirial services to be held 2:00 pm Thursday September 3, 2009 at Greenwood Funeral Home. Located at 350 Monroe Ave NE, Renton. Donations may be made to The Salvation Army or Lakeridge Lutheran Church in Seattle
