Ralph was born in Preston WA, January 21, 1928. He was a graduate of Prosser High School class of 1946. He was an US Army Veteran and later attended Stanford Business College. He owned Fidelity Mortgage & Escrow in Renton for many years.During his retirement he was active in the Sun City Elks Lodge #2559. He especially enjoyed being a Stephens Minister in the American Lutheran Church of Sun City, AZ.He is survived by his best friend and wife of 24 years, Karen Barkshire Woolman, four sons: Rick, Barry, Robert, and Dr. William Woolman, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. He was loved by many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Penny Harmon, his parents Lavern and Pearl, and his brothers Malcolm, Claude, and Lloyd.Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:00 pm, at St. Mathews Lutheran Church, 1700 Edmonds Ave. NE in Renton. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
