Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman declared September National Voter Registration Month and Sept. 26 was designated National Voter Registration Day.

While Sept. 26 has passed and September is coming to an end, there is still time to register if you would like to vote in this year’s general election.

Washington citizens have until Oct. 9 to register online to vote. Oct. 30 is the deadline for new voters to register.

General election ballots will be mailed out by Oct. 20 with the election ending on Nov. 7.
