Freshmen Lindbergh wrestling brothers Mark and Luke Garcia made a splash at the Bonney Lake Classic Jan. 9.

Mark went 4-0 and won the 103-pound title. Luke made a strong run and fell in the finals of the 112-pound weight class. Dylan Terry placed fifth at 171 pounds. Robert McCollum placed seventh at 130 pounds.

Lindbergh:

Leonard Abutin (125) and Isaiah Corwin (160) also wrestled at the tournament for the Eagles.

Renton High: Aaron Garcia placed fifth at 103 pounds. Saugat Chhetri placed seventh at 103 pounds.

Angel Rodriguez placed seventh at 125 pounds. John Nguyen placed eighth at 215 pounds. Joseph Watson placed seventh at 285 pounds.

Chris Teung (119), Johnny Huynh (140), Kevin Gonzaga (145), Brian Vo (160), Luke Bartlett (171), Alfredo Laxa Jr. (215) and John Nobis (285) also wrestled at the tournament for the Indians.
