The Renton-area swim and dive teams showed well at the Seamount League Championships Feb. 4 and 5 at Hazen.
Hazen finished second with 304.5 points. Lindbergh took third with 246 points and Renton placed fourth at 145 points.
Renton junior Steve Sholdra won both the 500-yard freestyle and the 100 breast. Sholdra’s time of four minutes, 38.63 seconds in the 500 free broke the Seamount League meet record.
Hazen sophomore Chase Onstot won the 200 free, while Lindbergh freshman Andrew Franco-Munoz won the 100 fly.
200 medley relay
Hazen’s team of Corbin Kozai, Chris Foth, Malcolm Mitchell and Alex Gayte finished second. Renton’s team of Jeremy Odden, Sholdra, Aslan DaVault and Tyler Pascual took third. Lindbergh’s team of A.J. Lim, Joey Hatch, Aaron Jacobsen and Franco-Munoz placed fourth.
200 free
Hazen’s Onstot won with a time of 1:50.34. Lindbergh’s Connor Guhlke took third, and Hazen’s P.J. Warmenhoven finished fifth.

Renton’s Odden finished second.
50 free
Lindbergh’s Franco-Munoz finished second by 0.12 seconds. Hazen’s Gayte took fourth and Lindbergh’s Jacobsen finished fifth.
One-meter dive
Hazen’s Brandon Alexander took third. Lindbergh’s Hatch finished fourth and Lindbergh Tanner Zornes placed fifth.
100 fly
Lindbergh’s Franco-Munoz won with a time of 57.94 seconds.. Lim finished fourth.
100 free
Kozai took second while Gayte finished third.
500 free
Renton’s Sholdra won with a time of 4:38.63, breaking the Seamount meet record. Onstot took third while Guhlke finished fifth.
200 free relay
Lindbergh’s team of Jacobsen, Zach Holm, Guhlke and Franco-Munoz finished second. Hazen (Shane Whitaker, Warmenhoven, Daniel Velasco and Andrew Le) took third. Renton (Joseph Dytioco, Alex Yoshioka, Hudson Du and Adriel Paine) finished fourth.
100 back
Odden finished second. Mithcell took third, Lim placed fourth and Hazen’s Blake Baxter finished fifth.
100 breast
Renton’s Sholdra won with a time of 1:01.83. Foth finished fifth.
400 free relay
Hazen (Kozai, Kyle Nelson, Mitchell and Onstot) took second. Renton (DaVault, Pascual, Odden and Sholdra) placed third. Lindbergh (Lim, Adrian Franco-Munoz, Holm and Guhlke) finished fourth.
