Renton High School’s Anson Huang, boys track, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for April 5.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Political Science/Government

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Running, cutting hair and drawing

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mr. King

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Before a race I like to hype up my teammates and do a lot of core.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Morning Glory,” by Kehlany

“Anson always goes out of his way to support his teammates to be the best they can be. He is always positive and continues to improve in his running events. He is a solid leader, captain and student.”
