The Mountaineers compete in the American Basketball Association, and are currently ranked 23rd out of the Association’s 70 teams.
The team features many local players, including Renton High boys basketball assistant Rashaad Powell.
Members and family members of players were honored at halftime in game against Oakland.
Inside a packed gymnasium, Renton showed they can compete with the nation’s best.
Renton led after one quarter, but the mighty Auburn roared back.
