Lindbergh, Renton take on 2A state meet | Swim & dive

The Lindbergh girls took 23rd in their debut at the 2A state swim and dive meet Nov. 11-13, while Renton finished tied for 33rd.

The Eagles scored 23 points, two off of Ellensburg in 21st. The Indians finished with two points and tied with Sequim.

Lindbergh’s team of Jacqui Flaherty, Lauren Miller, Savannah Lemke and Karlie Pfluger finished 13th in the 200 medley relay finals.

Renton’s team of Tonie Canlas, Eloisa Bautista, Tala Hild and Lynhda Vuong took 19th.

Lemke finished 14th in the 200 individual medley finals, Hild finished 17th in the 100 fly.

Pfluger took 24th in the 50-yard freestyle. Lindbergh junior Amanda Miller earned seventh in the one-meter dive competition. Lemke finished 25th in the 500 free.

Lindbergh (Kaitlin Zinsli, Brenna Healy, Miller and Pfluger) took 18th in the 200-free relay, while Renton (Canlas, Bautista, Hild and Vuong) placed 23rd.

Flaherty took 20th in the 100 back, while Bautista finished 15th in the 100 breast finals.

Renton’s team of Canlas, Vuong, Hild and Bautista finished 22nd in the 400-free relay. Lindbergh (Zinsli, Erica Garl, Bailey Faull and Healy) took 24th.
