Eastern Washington thrower Zack Nielsen qualified for the Big Sky Conference Champoinship in Arizona Feb. 24-25. Nielsen graduated from Lindbergh in 2009, where he made the All-State game as a football player. He made state as a junior in the discus.

Eastern Washington thrower Zack Nielsen qualified for the Big Sky Conference Champoinship in Arizona Feb. 24-25.

Nielsen graduated from Lindbergh in 2009, where he made the All-State game as a football player. He made state as a junior in the discus.

Nielsen’s distance of 18.05 meters in the weight throw at the UW Indoor Preview on Jan. 14 won the meet, and is the second-best distance in the Big Sky.
