Liberty football advances to state

The Patriots host Sehome High School tonight at 7 p.m.

The Patriots only lost two games in the regular season.

Advancing to postseason play, Liberty went 2-0 in the District 1/2 playoffs.

Liberty opened the playoffs with a 48-0 win over Cedarcrest Oct. 26 and advancing the Patriots to state was its 31-28 win over Sedro-Woolley.

Liberty will play in the first round of state at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Liberty High School against Sehome.
