Kentridge swimmers break Fairwood Country Club records

Four swimmers broke two 26-year-old relay records at the Fairwood Country Club earlier this summer.

Four swimmers broke two 26-year-old relay records at the Fairwood Country Club earlier this summer.

The swimmers, Chase Bublitz, Cameron Whiting, Jake Dacus and Tim Bergquist, attend Kentridge High School.

They set a new mark in the 200-freestyle relay July 23 with a time of one minute, 29.70 seconds. That beat the old record (set in 1985) by nearly two seconds.

The group also set a new record in the 200-medley relay July 23, with a time of 1:41.74. That bested the old record by more than two seconds.
