The Hazen Highlanders boys basketball team got off to a strong start Wednesday with a 74-53 win over Liberty at home.

Dominic Green led the way for Hazen, dropping in 21 points. Connor O’Hearn added 20 of his own and Jalen Green scored 17 points in the win.

The Highlanders head to Lindbergh High School at 7 p.m. Friday for an early-season matchup with the Eagles, who also won their opening game against Ingraham.
