Hazen improved to 2-0 with a 17-14 win against Cedarcrest Friday night at Renton Memorial Stadium.

The Highlanders led 7-6 at the half thanks to a Brandon Wiscarson two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Cody Taylor scored on a 49-yard run and J.D. Peterson made a 23-yard field goal, both in the fourth quarter.Hazen faces Kennedy Catholic Saturday at home at 7 p.m.

Lindbergh

Lindbergh couldn’t get its offense going and fell 19-6 to W.F. West Friday night.

The Eagles (1-1) trailed 19-0 heading into the fourth quarter before Matt Stuart connected with Cam Callen from two yards out.
