Hazen, Renton football both fall on Friday

New leagues, new opponents proving tough for local high school teams.

Hazen 13, Kentwood 54

The Hazen Highlanders traveled to Kentwood on Friday, but the Conquerers were too much as Hazen fell 54-13.

Hazen is now 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the North Puget Sound League. They host Kentridge at 7 p.m. Friday at Renton Memorial Stadium.

 

Renton 6, Eatonville 28

The Eatonville Cruisers topped the Renton Indians 28-6 on Friday in Eatonville.

No statistics were available from the game.

Renton is now 1-4 on the year and 1-3 in the South Puget Sound League. They travel to Port Angeles on Friday.
