Hazen boys tennis drops match to Kennedy

Only the second doubles team of Marcus Lee and James Chen were able to pull out a win, beating their opponents 6-1, 6-3 in their match.

The Hazen boys tennis team fell to Kennedy 4-1 on Tuesday in a match at Hazen between former Seamount League rivals.

Fist singles Dylan Kittay fell 1-6. 0-6 while second singles Sohil Shah won his first set but ended up losing 6-2, 1-6, 5-7.

In second doubles, Tyler Holm and Logan Ricord also won the first set before eventually losing in three very close sets 6-3, 6-7, 4-6, while the third doubles team of William Eng and Kenny Nguyen lost 2-6, 0-6.

Hazen is now 1-2 overall. They are scheduled to play Kentridge tonight and Mount Rainier on Friday, both at Hazen
