Girls basketball: Lindbergh’s Marcissa McMillan nets a triple-double

Lindbergh 62, Tyee 25

Marcissa McMillan posted a triple-double for Lindbergh as the Eagles beat Tyee 62-25 Tuesday.

McMillan’s effort led Lindbergh (5-4 overall, 4-2 Seamount) to its fifth win in the past six games. She led all players with 29 points, 24 rebounds, 10 blocks, six steals and four assists. McMillan has had at least a double-double in every Lindbergh game this season. She is averaging 20.1 points, 18.8 rebounds and 6.1 blocks per game.

Brandi Lindsay added 15 rebounds and five points, Jordan Halingstad added 10 rebounds and 11 points, as the Eagles outrebounded the Totems 64-17.

Lindsay is averaging 11 rebounds per game in the past four, Halingstad is averaging 16 points per game in the past three.
