Emily Graver MVP, Tim White coach of the year | Girls basketball awards

Lindbergh senior Emily Graver is the Seamount's Most Valuable Player for this season. Graver's 16.9 points per game ranked fifth in the league. She was second in the league with 2.2 three-point field goals per game and fourth in assists with 3.4 per game. She led the Eagles to an 8-13 record and a run into the district playoffs.

Renton’s Tim White is the Coach of the Year after leading the Indians to an undefeated league record and the team’s first Seamount title since 1987. Renton takes on W.F. West in the regional round of the state tournament Feb. 24.

On the first all-league team are Hazen’s Airashay Rogers, Foster’s Sahara Hill, Tyee’s Arineshia Smith, Renton’s Taylor Farris and Kennedy Catholic’s Myah Williams.

On the second team are Renton’s PJ Tuiasosopo and Tia Bryant, Foster’s Bianca Benevides, Highline’s Darshell Walker and Kennedy’s Diondra Bourgette.

Christina Wiley and Aleisha Simpson earned honorable mention from Lindbergh. Tyra Markey and Cecillee Fernandez earned honorable mention from Hazen. Also earning honorable mention: Chris Balansag (Foster), Sonya Savini (Highline), Marisa Munoz (Highline), Halle Davis (Kennedy), Taylor McMillion (Tyee), Emily Maiyo (Tyee), Tori Mulitauaopele (Evergreen) and Ticka Alefaio (Evergreen).
