The Lindbergh cross-country team took first place at the Fort Steilacoom 5K Invitational on

Sept. 20.

Matt Miland finished third overall and Trevor Thompson finished fourth, just two seconds behind. Joe Patti placed 18th and James Cornell finished 30th. On the girls side, freshman Sarah Reiter placed eighth overall.

For Hazen, Jeff Hinckley finished 39th, while David Hinckley finished 49th.

Liberty junior Eric Bice placed 28th. Freshman Kailey Davies placed 46th in the women’s varsity race.
