103 pounds
Hazen’s Josh Kluth lost to Mount Vernon’s Luis Reyna by fall one minute, 50 seconds into the first round of the 3A tournament.
Kluth then lost by fall to University’s Ryan Pierre.
112 pounds
Renton’s Saugat Chhetri fell to White River’s Richard Geddes on 5-3 decision in overtime in the first round of the 2A tournament.
Chhetri then beat Blaine’s Christian Sharp on a 9-1 decision before losing to Armando Hernandez of Toppenish 9-3.
Hazen’s Derek Corburn was pinned by Bonney Lake’s Andrew Cunningham in the first round. Matthew Calkins of Lynnwood then pinned him in the consolation bracket.
130 pounds
Hazen’s Austin Clark lost by fall to Yelm’s Marcus Crone in the first round. He then lost by technical fall (18-2) to University’s Reilley Smith.
135 pounds
Hazen’s Daniel Karpman was pinned by North Central’s Mithcell Bocook in the first round, then lost to Tyler Weiss of Camas 3-0 in the next round.
160 pounds
Liberty’s Jay Chakravarty beat Kennedy Catholic’s Nick Armitage 6-4 in the first round, then lost to Enumclaw’s Kario Wallin in the next round.
Chakravarty then fell to Shadle Park’s Luke Miller 7-3 in the consolation bracket.
189 pounds
Hazen’s Kyle Ely lost to Shadle Park’s Camoron Babcock 15-7 in the first round. Ely then pinned Wilson’s Jake Ferris before losing on a 4-0 decision to Enumclaw’s Colton Malek.
