Thomas Arthur Neumann

Tom Neumann, 63, passed away on July, 20, 2011 in Bothell, WA. He was born on August 21, 1947 in Buffalo, NY to Melvin and Grace Neumann. Tom graduated from high school at Concordia Academy, St. Paul, MN in 1965. He proudly served in the Coast Guard from 1969 to 1973. He continued his education at Northwest University graduating in1975 and received a Masters Degree from Seattle University in 1985. He was Pastor of Counseling at Neighborhood Church, Bellevue; New Life Church, Renton; and Brooklake Community Church, Federal Way. Tom received a Specialized Ministerial License with the Northwest Ministry Network (Assembly of God) and held a State License in Mental Health Therapy. He co-founded Northwest Family Life in Seattle for the treatment of perpetrators and victims of domestic violence. Tom also founded Cedar River Counseling Center in Renton where he currently had his practice. Tom was a faithful husband and loving father. Tom is survived by his wife of 36 years, Evelyn; son, Dustin Thomas Neumann of Bothell; parents, Melvin and Grace Neumann and sister Norma Burnside all of Minneapolis, MN. Tom leaves a multitude of family and friends all whom he loved dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 1:00 PM, at The Neighborhood Church, 625 – 140th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA 98005.
