RICHARD KENNEDY “DICK” VALLOR

Richard Kennedy “Dick” Vallor, age 90, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior peacefully in the early morning hours on December 11, 2017. He now joins his beloved mother, brothers and sister in eternal peace.

Dick was the youngest of six children born on February 14, 1927 to a single mother growing up during the depression in Pittsburgh, PA. He left high school early to enlist in the Marines at the conclusion of World War II serving two enlistments and reaching the rank of sergeant. Once back from the service, he married Camille Pittore on June 11, 1955 by his brother, the newly ordained, Reverend Robert Vallor.

A career at Boeing starting in 1958 took them to Renton, WA where they raised their three children. Dick was a long time parishioner of St. Anthony’s Parish, active in the community as a past president of the St Anthony’s PTA and grand knight of the Knights of Columbus. Dick retired from Boeing after 33 years and spent his time traveling and spending time with his family. He loved his golf and bowling, was the go-to guy at the camp stove for family outings, and was always there to help you with a house project. He also was one very proud Marine (semper fi).

His strong faith in God, love of family and country, generosity and kindness will be truly missed.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Camille; their three children, Richard (Maria), Timothy, Camille (Samuel); five grandchildren Samuel, Jessica, Julian, Nicholas and Luci.
