Olga (Breznikar) Purcell

Olga (Breznikar) Purcell – passed on April 8, 2012. Born in Red Lodge,Montana May 16, 1918, she graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1936 and worked as a telephone operator at Pacific Telephone.Olga married Lewis Purcell of Renton on December 16, 1943 in New London, Conn. and later settled in Renton, where she continued working as a telephone operator, retiring from Boeing in 1980. Olga was a member of the Kennydale Garden Club, an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved to dance. She volunteered at the Renton Senior Center and was a Secretary/Treasurer of Slovenian Lodge 11. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis in 2001 and brother Ernest Breznikar in 2002. She is survived by daughter Nancy Purcell of Renton, son Dave (Sandy) Purcell of Yakima, two grand-daughters, six great-grandchildren, brother Tony (Mickey) Breznikar of Renton, and many nieces and nephews.
