LARRY L. HOWE

Larry L. Howe of Bellevue, WA went home to his Lord and Savior peacefully on August 1, 2019 with his daughters and granddaughter beside him at Harborview Hospital in Seattle.

Larry was born in Stockville, Nebraska on May 3, 1938 to the late Loyal and Wilma (Evans) Howe. Larry followed his mother to Washington at the age of 17. He was a graduate of Renton High School, where he met and married Sally (Hooven) Howe. They had three daughters, Cindy, Julie and Linda.

Larry enlisted in the United States Airforce and served his country with pride from 1957 to 1961. Later, he also served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Larry briefly worked for Boeing and Cam Industries before he became a Realtor/Real Estate Investor.

Larry met and married his second wife Evelyn (Wood) Howe. They loved to travel and for the last 20 years, they spent enjoying the winters in Chandler, AZ and the summers in their Bellevue, WA home.

Larry was a volunteer for the Chandler, Az Food Bank for 19 years. He loved sports, and a great bag of popcorn. He was quite the handyman and could repair or fix most anything.

Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Evelyn (Wood) Howe, his three daughters, Cynthia Howe (Rick) Wilson of Peoria, Az., Julie (Howe) Hildebrandt of Anacortes, Wa and Linda Howe (Bob) Bristow of Renton, Wa, his three step children, Gary Babcock of Maple Valley, Wa, Terry Babcock of Kona, HI and Vicky Babcock (Sean) Callahan of Woodinville, WA and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Forever in our hearts, continually in our memories and greatly missed. Our family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Harborview Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Harborview Hospital or Paws in loving memory of his faithful companion, Alf.
