Johnnie Wayne Butler, born March 2, 1919 in Renton, WA and passed away March 31, 2009 in Renton.He attended school in Renton. Johnnie worked at Pacific Car & Foundry and Kenworth. He served in the Army in the Philippine Islands during WWII. He was a member of the Renton Fish & Game Club and Renton Historical Society. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, gun and bow hunting.Johnnie went snow skiing and rode his motorcycle with his wife Beverly whom he married 68 yrs ago in Renton. They also spent time together at Longacres Racetrack.He is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters, Teana and Nadean; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and his sister Hattie.Graveside services were held May 8, 2009 at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Inurnment followed the services.
