Iola Monster

Iola Monster died February 1, 2009 in Buckley WA. Born August 23, 1917 in Seattle with her twin sister Iona.

Iola married John Monster in 1936 and moved to the Renton area. They lived on part of the original homestead until 1986 when they moved to Enumclaw. Iola was preceded in death by her husband John in 2003, her twin sister Iona in 2007 and sister Florence. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Joan Noel (Robert)of Buckley, Linda Lawton, and Marilou McDougall(Michael) all of Enumclaw;3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Iola spent her life serving others as a homemaker. She was a loving, caring woman who will be missed dearly by all who knew her. At her request no services will be held.
