GARY CAMPBELL MITCHELL

March 17, 1952 – March 21, 2018

Gary was born to Gordon and Juanita Mitchell in Seattle, WA and raised in Kennydale, Renton, Washington.

He graduated from Hazen High School in 1970 and graduated from the University of Washington in 1974 with a B.A. in Business. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy both active duty and reserve for over 20 years as a staff mine warfare officer and retired in 1996 as a Captain. Gary also worked for Boeing for 38 years as a manufacturing engineer on the 737 and 777.

Gary was an avid skier and a volunteer for the National Ski Patrol from 1992 to 2012. He loved to be on the open road with his Harley Davidson, wife and friends. They traveled together across the Pacific Northwest, Wyoming, Nevada and South Dakota.

Gary had an infectious smile and a caring and giving heart. He was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terry Mitchell; son, Stuart Mitchell; daughter, Allison Northrop; and sister, Patty Kelleher.
