Edna M. Straley

Edna Mae Straley was born April 3, 1922 in Shoshone, Idaho, and passed away on March 3, 2012 in Renton, Washington. She grew up in Hailey, Idaho where she graduated from High School. She furthered her education by attending Saint Mary’s College in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she studied nursing. After graduating, she moved to Seattle, WA where she enjoyed working as a nurse, and met her husband Richard L. Straley. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and brother Ralph Davis. She is survived by Lourinda and Rob Knipfer of Kent, WA; Arianne and Howard Jensen of Prosser, WA; grandchildren, Daniel and Heather Knipfer, Anya, Alissa, and Evan Jensen; great-grandchildren, Aden and Logan Knipfer, and Brody Jensen.Her family will be honoring her memory in a private memorial service.
