Douglas A. Lien, 62 of Renton, WA, formerly of Sioux City, IA passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at home after following a struggle with Cancer. Abiding by his wishes, cremation has taken place.A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 16 at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton. Private family services will be held at a later date in Denver Colorado.Douglas was born December 20, 1945 in Canton, SD the son of Theodore and Grace Lien. Douglas wa raised in Sioux City and graduated from the University of Iowa. He spent his career as a computer analyst and currently worked for Paccar as a Business Intelligence Analyst.Survived by brother, Gary (Karen); nephews, Todd (Leslie) Lien and daughter, Carolyn, (Kirk) Lien, Michael(Deb) Padomek and their children Kent (Elizabeth) Padomek and Allison Padomek; and his special friend Frank Woods. He was preceded in death by his parents and an older sister, Connie Padomek and brother-in-law, John Padomek.
