DENNIS E. DEWEY

Dennis Edwin Dewey, 75 years young, passed into eternal peace January 21, 2017. Born in Nyssa, OR on September 18, 1941 to Marvin Floyd Dewey and Thelma Eudora (Cook) Dewey.

A graduate of Franklin High School, Seattle, WA he had a lengthy career of over 30 years at the United Stated Post Office and a Representative of the Union as well. A Renton resident for over 50 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard, Larry, and Warren Dewey. Survived by sister Pat McCoy (Dewey) of Pasco, WA. Children – Debbie Ojeda of Enumclaw, WA, Douglas Dewey, Enumclaw, WA, and David Dewey of Dallas, WI and their mother Diane. Grandchildren, Kalesha Ellingson, Roslyn Hansen, Douglas Dewey Jr. and Dennis Dewey. Great grandchildren, Keely, Kyler, Cole Auckland, Dawson Dewey, Dennis Dewey Jr. and Pierce Tilaye. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Dennis enjoyed classic cars, car shows, walking, socializing with his good friends, wine stomping and his beloved African Grey, Toby bird.

Thank you to all of our family and friends who have lent their support through this unexpected time of loss His friends and family meant a great deal to him.
