Bettye “YiaYia” Pauline DeLappe

Born July 28,1927 Tacoma, WA

Our beloved YiaYia left us July 24, 2016. She was peaceful and at home.

Bettye was generous, compassionate and sharp as a tack. She was a lifelong resident of Seattle/Renton. Her passions in life were her family, friends, Greek heritage, cooking, garden, and career at Renton High School. Her door was always open and she played the hand she was dealt beautifully.

She is survived by her three children: Carrie, Paul (Karen), and Mark, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered fondly by many for so many things. Her memorial will be held Saturday, August 6th from 11:00-2:00 at the Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave. N., Renton, WA 98057.
