Betty Jean Avey died of natural causes Sunday December 14, 2014 at Maple Leaf Family Home in Seattle, WA with additional generous care from Providence Hospice.

Mrs. Avey was a successful artist who recreated nature’s beauty from her homes in Alaska, Washington and California. She joins her husband Charles W. Avey who passed in 2007, and former husband Harold “Tiny” Bradford, Jr.

She is survived by her children Barbara, David, and Glenn Bradford, Cynthia Hawley and Sandy Whatley; stepchildren Don and Gary Avey; and siblings Charles Barr, Anita Powers, Earl Barr and David Sweet. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, one grandchild and a host of friends who will mourn her passing and celebrate her life.
