Audrey Weeks Storey-Wallington

Audrey was born March 26, 1917 in Mel-stone, Montana to Leo Louis and Jet Audrey (Black) Weeks and passed away June 20, 2009 in Renton. She grew up in Renton and graduated from Renton High School in 1935 as Valedictorian of her class, she then attended Ellensburg Normal (Central Washington University) in 1936. Audrey married Wesley Storey in 1937 and they were married over 50 years until his death in 1991. The family, including three children lived in the Renton area. In 1995 Audrey married James Wallington; they were married for fourteen years and had a wonderful time traveling in Europe, Central America and the U.S. They also enjoyed golfing up and down the West Coast. Audrey worked at the Boeing Company and Bellevue Community College. She was a lifelong member of the Renton First United Methodist Church. As an avid bridge player, Audrey belonged to an extended family of card players and bridge clubs. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her special delights. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Wesley, sisters Marian, Max-ine and Jean and her brother Orrin. She is survived by her husband Jim Wallington; daughter Judy Nelson (Tom); sons Neil Storey (Margaret) and Mark Storey (Dianna) as well as 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday July 11, 2009 at the Renton First United Methodist Church.
