On July 12, during the early morning hours, Puget Sound Energy crews will perform a rolling slowdown on I-405 between Northeast 44th Street and I-5 and close one lane on northbound I-405 between SR 515 and SR 169 to give PSE crews time to cut a deactivated power line and then relocate a new power line above I-405.

June 12-13, during the daytime hours, PSE crews will have a truck on the southbound shoulder of I-405 between SR 167 and SR 169 with its arm extended over the median of I-405 to create a protective barrier while crews complete relocation of power lines. While no lanes on I-405 will be closed, the work may pose a visual distraction for drivers. The power lines are being relocated in preparation for the I-405/I-5 to SR 169 Stage 2 – Widening and SR 515 Interchange project that is scheduled to begin construction late 2008 or early 2009.
