New Horizon School is holding its 4th Annual Wine Tasting Event Oct. 24 from 7-9 p.m. at The Pacific Institute, at 1709 Harbor Ave. S.W. on Seattle’s Alki Beach.

Appetizers and desserts will accompany the wines. The evening will include wine-tasting sessions, a social hour and a silent auction.

This year’s wine guide is wine expert Richard Kinssies, owner of Wine Outlet and wine educator.

Event proceeds benefit New Horizon School, a Renton school for 6-12 graders with learning disabilities.
