The possibility of lowland snow is in the weather forecast as a Pacific storm moves through Western Washington Sunday night and Monday, bringing high winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Blizzard conditions closed Snoqualmie Pass Sunday evening in both directions. Interstate 90 is closed eastbound at North Bend and near Ellensburg westbound. Several collisions have occurred in the pass summit  area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Sunday night winds are forecast  for 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph in the lowlands of Western Washington. Lows are forecast for the mid 30s to low 40s. The winds continue Monday, with rain at times and highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Monday night  wet snow is possible on the hills with up to one- inch accumulation; snow level is near 400 feet. Lows  will be in the 30s. Tuesday,  the forecast  is mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers. Snow level is near 200 feet.
