UPDATE: Missing 76-year-old Renton woman is found in Kent

The Renton Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate 76-year-old Peggy Ann Curwood.

UPDATE: Peggy Curwood was located Thursday in Kent after an anonymous tip led investigators to her location.  She is unharmed and speaking with investigators, according to the Renton Police Department.

Renton Police believe she is with a family member who is trying to gain access to her bank account, according to a news release.

She is described as white, 5-foot-3, medium build, with gray hair and blue eyes. Her vehicle, a green Dodge Caravan with Washington license plate DP07934, is also missing.

She was last seen leaving her home in the 12700 block of Southeast 190th Place in Renton on Sept. 8. She was reported missing by family members on Sept. 19. Her credit card has been used in Kent, according to police.

Anyone who has seen Peggy Curwood or knows of her location is asked to call 9-1-1 or contact the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500.
