Three young men who allegedly broke into a Skyway home to bind, rape and rob a 26-year-old woman last week were charged in King County Superior Court.

Kevin Isajah Volante, 20, Michael Martinez Copol, 20, and Dara Khann, 17, were charged with first-degree rape, first-degree robbery and with taking the woman’s BMW without permission, according to Friday’s charging papers.

The three men were arrested shortly after the Aug. 11 home invasion. Each of the men are being held on a $750,000 bail.

About 45 minutes after the incident, deputies got a report of a BMW abandoned at a gas station in Burien.

As a deputy checked the area, he passed a 1989 Cadillac with three suspects matching the woman’s description, according to the papers.

The deputy found a gun in the car that was allegedly used to threaten the woman.

The victim identified Copol and Khann as the suspects, according to the documents.

She didn’t identify Volante, of Seattle, because she never saw the third person.

At about 3 a.m. the woman heard a loud noise in her house on the 6400 block of South 131st Street.

Khann, of Tacoma, then allegedly came into her bedroom and pointed a gun at her face, telling her to be quiet.

Copol followed him into the room holding a gun at his side. She tried to get up, but he pushed her down, according to the documents.

Someone then hit her in the head with a gun.

She told them where she kept about $300 cash, before they bound her wrists and covered her mouth and eyes with duct tape, according to the documents,

The three men then took turns sexually assaulting her, according to the documents.

At the Sheriff’s Office, the men told officers a “vague” story about being at a party during the incident.

Copol, who is from Burien, agreed to take a polygraph test and failed. He admitted they burglarized the home and that someone bound the woman.

He said that he didn’t rape her and none of the others had told him that they did, according to the documents.

The three men have criminal histories ranging from unlawful possession of a firearm to burglary. Copol, also known as Juan Miguel Machado, has an immigration hold, according to the documents.

The men are scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 25. Khann was charged as an adult.
