The Village Chapel, 17418 108th Ave. S.E. in Renton, is hosting a garage sale 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., March 19 and every item is being given away for free.

In an effort to help people out in the community the church has taken on the project.

“We want to help out in anyway we can and with the economy the way it is, the best price we could see is free,” said Pastor Wesley Henry.

All books, furniture, clothes and household items will be free for the taking on a first come first serve basis. The items have been donated by church and community member and donations will be accepted at the church after 5 p.m., today, March 18.
