Stealing accusation turns physical: At 1:31 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 3100 block of Northeast 16th Street, officers were dispatched to a physical domestic call. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim, who stated that her daughter’s husband accused her of stealing. An argument turned into a physical altercation. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect. A criminal citation was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Car theft: At 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 3800 block of Northeast Fourth Street, an officer was dispatched for a reported vehicle theft. The victim stated that the vehicle’s registered owner traveled out of the country and left the car in his possession. The last time he saw the vehicle was in the morning. However, in the evening, the car was missing. The vehicle was entered as stolen.

Stolen vehicle recovery: At 8:38 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 900 block of Jericho Place Northeast, an officer was dispatched to recover an unoccupied stolen vehicle. The vehicle was impounded, and the registered owner was contacted.

Car with exposed ignition: At 10:24 p.m. Nov. 19 at Northeast Sixth Street and Ilwaco Place Northeast, an officer was dispatched for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the officer inspected the unoccupied vehicle and saw that the ignition had been exposed. The officer ran the vehicle’s information, and it came back as stolen. It was towed, and the registered owner was contacted.

Physical altercation: At 2:32 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 700 block of Field Avenue Northeast, officers were dispatched to a domestic assault that occurred. Officers contacted the victim, who said his mother’s ex-fiancé began an argument with him about having friends in the house. The argument then escalated into a physical altercation. Officers arrested the ex-fiancé, and he was booked into jail.
